Hailstone Software is a UK based software development house established in 2003. We specialize in developing software solutions based on Microsoft technologies.

Database development made easy! ODS is aimed at Microsoft .NET Developers who need a Data Access Layer for their application, especially those with little or no database expertise.

How does ODS work? ODS is a dedicated Data Access Layer design tool. Rather than starting with a database, you start by designing your objects in ODS Design Studio. ODS automatically designs a database for you that can store your objects and then automatically creates your Data Access Layer (DAL) by generating .NET source code.

Once you've generated the DAL, simply add a couple of lines of code to your application to create new databases, store and retrieve your objects. No need to design the database, write any SQL or write Data Access code. ODS does all the hard work for you!
